The”Specialized and innovative little giant” is a major project of the state to guide SMEs to follow the development path of “specialisation, refinement, special features and novelty”, to enhance independent innovation and core competitiveness, and to continuously improve the quality and level of development of SMEs, and is the most authoritative honour title in the evaluation of SMEs nationwide. It is the highest grade and the most authoritative honour title in the evaluation of small and medium-sized enterprises in China.

Recently, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization released the Announcement on the List of the Sixth Batch of Specialized, Specialized and New “Little Giants” Enterprises and the Third Batch of Specialized, Specializ   ed and New “Little Giants” Enterprises Passed the Review (Shanghai), in which, Shanghai PGM Technology (Group) Co. (hereinafter referred to as ‘PGM’) passed the review of the third batch of national speciality, speciality and new “Little giants” enterprises, and once again won the national recognition.

In the sixth batch of public announcements, a total of 2,601 enterprises were awarded, compared with 3,671 in the fifth batch, the yearly decrease in the number reflects the yearly increase in the difficulty of selection. Therefore, the fact that PGM was able to stand out under such stringent selection conditions signifies that the company has been recognised by the state and the society in terms of advanced cutting-edge technology, scale of business market and exemplary development quality, and that it has taken a solid step forward on the road of specialisation, refinement, specialisation and innovation.
