China-Russia textile trade status quo Challenges and opportunities co-exist
Due to the long-term slump in production in the Russian textile industry, domestic products are unable to meet market demand and are therefore extremely dependent on imports. Currently, the Russian textile industry imports about 70 per cent of its raw materials.
