High temperature weather equipment maintenance precautions

As the days of summer approach, high temperatures are frequently occurring nationwide. These extreme conditions pose significant challenges for the heat dissipation of the TG axis, bearings, and computer hosts of cutting machines, as well as for vacuum motors and frequency converters. To extend the lifespan of your equipment, ensure processing precision, and prevent production disruptions due to equipment failures, PGM has compiled some summer high-temperature maintenance tips based on years of experience in equipment upkeep.

Summer Equipment Maintenance Guidelines:

1.Choose a Good Operating Environment: Avoid placing equipment in areas with intense sunlight to prevent the table from cracking, which can shorten its lifespan.

2.Lubricate Properly When Changing Blades: When lubricating the piston, make sure to also inject high-temperature grease into the TG axis.

3.Keep the Computer Host Area Clean: Do not pile up miscellaneous items around the computer host to ensure proper heat dissipation.

4.Clean the Filters of Cooling Fans Regularly: Clean the filters of the two circulating fans for the air intake and exhaust of the electric control box weekly to ensure that the frequency converters and other electrical components can dissipate heat properly.

5.Regularly Clean the Vacuum Filter: The cleaning frequency depends on the usage rate. For double or triple shifts, clean the vacuum filter every three days. For single shifts, cleaning it once a week is sufficient. This ensures the proper functioning of the vacuum system.
